Become an elk
Yellow Elk was built to be the best company for consultants. That is still our ambition. Every day.

Start your elk career
Everyone at Yellow Elk has the opportunity to become a co-owner, regardless of experience level. We build the company together, for real.
Skills development is a matter of course for us. Through Elkhack Sessions, YE Competence Center and a culture where you learn from colleagues with decades of experience, we invest in making you better.
You also get a senior colleague who supports your development, not as a formality but as a real sparring partner.
We believe in transparency. Clear conditions, good replacement and no hidden structures.
And the missions? We take assignments where data actually matters. That means tricky problems, engaged customers and solutions that make a real difference.

Ready to be one of us?
We are always looking for people who are passionate about data, whether we have a specific role advertised or not. Tell us who you are and what you want to do. We'll get back to you.

Do you want to start your own hub?

An Elk Hub is its own autonomous company with clear support and few constraints. At the same time, we share a strong culture based on freedom, camaraderie, and commitment. Each hub leader shapes their hub, and each consultant considers their hub their closest colleagues, but works together on projects with Moose from other hubs.
We call them hubs, not offices, for a reason. An office is a place. A hub is a team. It's where you have your daily life, your colleagues you actually know, and your leader you can talk to directly.
We believe in having consultants who work closely with their clients — geographically, technically, or market-specifically. This allows all consultants to work in smaller companies and be close to their specific team and company. At the same time, they have the security and backing of over 200 elks outside their specific hub. We share experiences, training, and projects. We share culture, brand, and network. You can feel both secure and seen in our forest.
Three things define our approach to working life: engagement, freedom, and camaraderie. These aren't just posters in the breakroom — it's how we actually work.
- Everyone is a co-owner. We believe that those who are invested are also engaged. When you own a part of the company, you care a little extra — about the client, about your colleagues, about how things are going.
- Percentage-based salary.
You get a large slice of the pie for what you bring in. This means we don't need salary negotiations — you see what you earn each month, and you control your own income. That's true freedom. - Seven weeks of summer vacation.
If it works for the client, it works for us. We believe that those who truly get to recover also do a better job the rest of the year. - We recruit for ten years — not for a project.
Friendship is a core value, not a buzzword. We hire people we want to work with for a long time. That's why each hub becomes like a family, and the entire Yellow Elk becomes like an extended family. - We share what we know.
Yellow Elk is a company of senior professionals, and with seniority comes the responsibility to share knowledge. We do this in our Elk Sessions — internal sessions where Elks share knowledge between the hubs. We encourage everyone who wants to get certified, and often do so together with our partners like Microsoft, Snowflake, and Databricks. Anyone who wants to grow with us has ample opportunity to do so.
In eight years, we've had less than 2% staff turnover across all hubs. While not a direct measure of happiness, it indicates that people stay, and people only stay if they thrive.
We organize ourselves by geography and expertise.
Examples of expertise hubs include Leadership, Financial Services, and Microsoft — to name a few. All operate within data and AI.
Do you have an innate entrepreneurial spirit? Perhaps you work as a manager at a consulting firm, or as an experienced consultant and have considered starting your own business — or have you already embarked on an entrepreneurial journey and are thinking of reactivating your network?
