Yellow Elk is launching a new hub specializing in IoT and streaming data

A failing ball bearing shows up in the data hours or days before a breakdown. Usually, no one sees it in time because the data ends up in a report the next morning.

⚙️ That is why we are launching Yellow Elk Industrial, a new hub for industry, IoT, and real-time data, led by Niclas Grahm.

Why a dedicated hub? Real-time is a different craft than batch processing. Signals from a PLC need names and context. Events must be handled in the correct order. And no data can be lost when the network goes down on a Tuesday night. That requires people who understand both the factory floor and the data platform.

We are starting in the industrial sector, but the need doesn't stop at the factory gate. An item that has sold out in a store shouldn't be available for purchase online a minute later. The same applies to logistics, finance, and anywhere else where minutes matter.

The real-time streams land in the platform you already have, whether it's Snowflake, Databricks, or Microsoft Fabric.
