Welcome Niklas Karlsson

We are excited to welcome our latest star Niklas Karlsson to the Yellow Elk team. Niklas has been working as a Data & Analytics engineer for many years and holds both a Master of Science in Engineering and a teaching degree - ambitious, to say the least!

Niklas has hands-on experience designing and maintaining end-to-end data pipelines with #Azure, #Snowflake, #Databricks, #DBT and ensuring data quality, scalability, and usability for analysis and reporting, all while working in an agile environment. He advocates for rapidly developing MVPs to test ideas and deliver value to the business quickly.

Recently, he has helped clients develop their data capabilities and business mindset toward #AI-driven development, strengthening both data engineering practices and AI product offerings. AI-driven development includes using agents, MCPs, and improving CI/CD processes. Product enhancements include offering data products as self-service analytics platforms and enabling users to build and publish dashboards and vibe-code applications on top of semantic layers, while maintaining data integrity.

Niklas is heading straight into an assignment on one of our new projects on the Snowflake platform.
